Andoni ALONSO TORT

Hello ! My name is Andoni Alonso Tort. I am a mexican student arrived in France 4 years ago. I would like to share with you a little part of my life 😁 !

I am passionate about music, travel, chess, literature, and of course, programming !

In 2020 I graduated in Multiplatform Development from the "Universidad Tecnológica de San Juan del Río, Querétaro, Mexico", as TSU, equivalent to two-year Bachelor’s degree in technology (computer science).

During this period, in 2020, I won a scholarship that allowed me to study in France a "Licence Professionnelle (Développement et Administration de Sites Internet)", equivalent to three-year BSc in computer science.✈️.

Thanks to the valuable relationships I gained during my internship, I had the opportunity to return to France 😎 and complete my studies in sandiwch course at a company called Prodeo, who supported me from the beginning, to finish a "Licence Informatique (3rd year)", equivalent to three-year sandwich course BSc in computer science.

I am currently finishing my last year in "Master IWOCS (Ingénierie du Web, des Objets Communicants et des Systèmes Complexes)" with the same company, equivalent to two-year sandwich course MSc in computer science.

I have spent my 4 years of studies in the beautiful city of Le Havre, Normandy, where I met incredible people who continue to be part of my life.

However, at the same time, regarding my professional experience in the last 3 years, I have worked in the city of Caen, Normandy, as Full-Stack Developer.

In October 2019 I received an award from the Frank Hirschvogel Foundation, a German industrial company that had just installed a plant in my city "San Juan del Río, Querétaro, Mexico", and supported the students with the best grades at the university with this award. They also invited us to their plant facilities to learn about the company and future opportunities.

Together with some of my colleagues from my University in Mexico, I worked with a research center (CICATA) to develop the interface of a software that would support the work of researchers and computer experts called “DICFI V1.0 Digital Image Capture Source Identifier”, developped in MATLAB.

MY FIST TRIP ! 🛫

In April 2019 I had the opportunity to go to Canada to study an intensive English course for two weeks with EF. It was undoubtedly an incredible experience that allowed me to get to know new cultures and discover this new sensation of surrounding myself with people who speak different languages and seeking the way to communicate by improving our English 😊.

After these two weeks of intensive English, I was able to obtain my B1 certificate 🥳.

One of the most important and valuable oportunities that I have had in my life has been Mexprotec, which was an alliance program between Mexico and France that sent 150 students from the country each year to study a "Licence Professionnelle".

More than a group preparing for a scholarship, it was a big family for me, all with a common goal. To be part of MEXPROTEC we had to:

🤓 Study 3 hours of French every day after school for 2 years and at the end obtain a B1 certification with a minimum 80%.

🥇Have the best grades in our career to be accepted for the scholarship.

💪Pass a technical exam of our career, at the national level in competition with other 800 students in the country.

🧐Pass a final interview with a Franco-Mexican jury who would decide who would be accepted.

Now it's been 4 years since I've been here, and I couldn't be more proud of the opportunities I've had and all the experiences that have made me grow professionally and personally.

Prodeo is a company established in Caen. I found them during my search for professional internships my first year in France.

At the end of the period, they proposed that I continue my studies while continuing to work with them in "alternance" (sandwich courses). So when I finished my scholarship, I returned to France to continue a "Licence 3" and finally the master's degree that I am currently finishing.

During this time working with them as a Full-stack developer, I have helped to improve web applications for industrial organization such as "Kamishibai", and for team organization, based on the agile methodology such as "Flash Meeting".
